Biography

Ms. Barna joined Touro Berlin in 2012 as admissions officer. From 2013 to 2017, she worked as registrar. As she returned from maternity leave in 2020, she rejoined Admissions.

Before joining Touro, Ms. Barna worked in various administrative capacities at the Central European University in Budapest and the European College of Liberal Arts (now Bard College Berlin) in Berlin.

She holds a Research Master’s in Literary Studies from the University of Amsterdam, and a Master’s in English Language and Literature from ELTE University Budapest. In addition to her completed degrees, she studied Liberal Arts at the European College of Liberal Arts and pursued doctoral studies in Modern English Literature at ELTE University.

Ms. Barna is fluent in English and Hungarian, and has an intermediate level of German.
