Yahel Matalon
Yahel Matalon is a PhD candidate at Yale University’s Department of Comparative Literature, where she is completing a dissertation on the ways that modern Jewish women have rewritten the stories of difficult biblical heroines. Her teaching and research interests include a broad range of subjects, such as the Bible as literature, modern Jewish women’s writings, Jewishness and femininity in the European long nineteenth century, Victorian literature ad modern mysteries, and the origins of psychoanalysis through turn-of-the-century literature.
At Touro Berlin, she teaches College Writing.
