Bradley J. Huestis
Brad holds a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University, a J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law, an L.LM. from the Judge Advocate General’s Lrgal Center and School, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Tampa.
From 2001to 2003, Brad was a faculty member of the criminal law department at the JAG school, and his academic and professional articles have appeared in the Military Law Review and The Army Lawyer. In 2015, he was a Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard University‘s Kennedy School of Government.
From 2009 to present, Brad serves as the Senior Civilian Attorney and Chief of Client Services for the U.S. Army in Bavaria. From 1989 to 2009, he was an active-duty judge advocate and artillery officer.
Airborne and Ranger qualified, he deployed to Bosnia and Iraq, and was awarded the Bronze Star medal.
Beginning in 2022, Brad joined the Touro University Berlin team as an adjunct professor. His teaching portfolio includes American Political System, Business Law, and Creative Writing. He also participates in Veteran Trauma seminars to discuss his award-winning wounded warrior novel, Ahab: A Hockey Story.
