Biography

Agata Maria Kraj is a Political Psychologist currently working as a Project Coordinator within the “RESPOND! Nein zu Judenhass im Netz” Project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Germany, and led by Touro University Berlin. At the same time, she is completing her doctoral dissertation in Political Science at the University of Bamberg. Her research interests include social identities and intersectionality, particularly in contexts of prejudice and discrimination. She has also completed a BA Degree in Integrated Social and Cognitive Psychology, and a Research Master’s Degree in Global Visual Communication, both at Jacobs University Bremen (currently: Constructor University). 

As a trained social psychologist, global visual communication expert, and a political scientist, she combines theoretical and research expertise with professional experience of working in academic administration and project coordination. She is passionate about researching ways to help increase the political representation of underrepresented groups and combatting any type of social exclusion, whether it happens on- or offline. 

During her college years, she has also worked as a trainer for diversity and time management.
