MA in Holocaust Studies / Tolerance Studies

The aim of the online MA program is to provide graduate students with a deeper knowledge and understanding of contemporary history, the history of National Socialism, the history and the effects of the Holocaust, the role of tolerance and the need for human rights.

MA students will have the opportunity to attend classes with our cooperation partner at the Free University Berlin – Institute for Jewish Studies.

Our online program also includes contacts to national and international key Holocaust Memorials and their virtual exhibitions as well as archives with online access to Holocaust-related holdings.

It is the only master’s program of its kind in Germany and EU.
The Master-Degree allows students to apply for PhD-graduation at all Universities.

  • Bachelor’s degree (We also encourage professionals who would like to pursue Holocaust Studies / Tolerance Studies on a part-time basis)
  • Non-native speakers must prove sufficient English proficiency skills
  • We accept TOEFL or IELTS Academic test scores from within the last two years
